i did consider a beef shower prank. where you put a bouillon cube in the shower head, and as the hot water starts dissolving it, the target becomes beefy and confused. i'm still trying to not poke the bear though. so maybe i'll just take all the tp.
i needed to get yaktrax for my upcoming hike to see the ice caves on lake superior (this time of year it's slim pickings for that sort of thing so i ended up with these instead: https://www.icetrekkers.com/), and the store was near the house so i stopped by to see how she was doing. i trimmed her claws and then took the trimmers. i think she'll be ok. i might go visit again tomorrow, and then he'll be home over the weekend.
ramona - sophie wasn't sad about leaving abby, none of the three really got along (they did occasionally play together). she's just terrified of the unfamiliar.

i want to suggest a prank that is really naughty but i do not condone it.
put a raw shrimp into the curtain rail. unscrew the end and push it far into the rail. make sure you leave the end open. wait for summer time ...you get the picture.

The silliness of all that discussion about moving Addiction was that the past two threads have had copious quantities of bike talk... road bike talk.
There's also what I consider to be a family here. I feel comfortable with the people here. I don't in Foo.

...when they did that last cleanup of the forum to make it run faster, a number of people had their post counts go down because of the deleted threads.
So all you have to do is go back and start deleting all your old posts, @coasting. That ought to be a trip down memory lane.

But I say that only because I have been a slackard in riding this past Australian summer. I do have excuses -- moving states, starting a new job, being lazy...
All our stuff is in storage, except for three bikes each, and I don't really have anything to work on to create bike talk.

+1 Exactly. We had this debate ad nauseum years ago, behind the curtain. Ultimately we decided Road and Racing could each keep one off-topic thread . . . ONE. After all, this IS a bike forum. So there should be no surprise when we move other off-topic threads. And there should be no resentment of the Addiction thread because you either like it and join in, or you don't and stay out. There's no lock on the door. But just because the flow isn't exactly as you like it on any particular day, or at all, doesn't mean you can go off and start another off-topic thread. The rules are clear, and there is nothing arbitrary or capricious about it.
The bottom line is: you can never please everybody. Say La Vee!
