Gorgeous.
I say ditch the red tape; it's too loud. There is enough red between the logos on the fork and stem to make an effective color triangle with the bits on the rear.
Get black or grey, then consider keeping the gumwalls. The gumwall doesnt work because it clashes with all that red, like it does with most other bright colors.
As a last note, this bike is very in line with my ideal training/daily rider bike. Very nice!

I like it. It's a little over the top with all of the red, and then someone dipped the top in black with the seat post, saddle and stem all black. I'd probably tone it down a bit. The frame has enough pop and color that the bars and tires don't really need the red. Overall, I like the bike, not sure if I'd rank it a hot, though. I don't care for the sloping top and Trek isn't ever a beautiful frame, imo. But a great bike nonetheless.

bmcphx, great to see that you finally got it! Hot to say the least. I thought you went 9070? Of course once your fit is complete you'll need to deal with the steerer tube nad re-post with chain on large chainring ha! Stellar bike use it in good health.

yeah, yeah. I figure until my back starts feeling better I want to keep my option there to raise the stem. Rides still hurt me quite a bit, and I even have a new "hump" in my back!
robbyville they don't make that bike in 9070, and I hate to imagine what it would have cost if they did!

Thanks. I love the frame so far. It's a night and day difference over the mid-80s Columbus Formula II-tubed Bianchi that I rode a few years back. It's got the stiffness of my old CAAD10, is even more agile, and more comfortable over rough surfaces, while not being much heavier at all. It's a definite winner. American-made craftsmanship combined with the Columbus Life tubeset produced at this price point is really a remarkable feat. I am really stoked for Adam and can't wait to see this brand take off.

Naw, I agree with PeregrineA1, it looks stupid. Looks like a really poor fit as he said.
From HongFu I would have gone with the FM296. It's lighter, with 27.2 seatpost, tapered seattube, and more a open frame look to it, and less of a branded knockoff look.

Of course.
You see, when the other thread was started, long before this thread existed, it was much like this thread is now. Over time, however, it became more like this thread was supposed to be. The mods took exception to it and they demanded that the other thread be like it was, so this thread was created to take place of what the other one had come be. But now it seems that this thread has become like the other thread is now and like it used to be before it had become like this one was supposed to be. So they are now the same.
Simple, see?
