nice bike. I just got mine, but i upgraded it to Di2, but only 6770.
My Single Chaingring on order, Rotor QCX1 40t with a 6870 RD ready to go on with a 11-32 cassette. Just waiting for the Chainring to get here. The Stem is a Giant Contact SLR Carbon stem with the Aero Handlebars (they came off of my Propel) and Bontrager XXX Paradigm saddle. I gave the Orange saddle to my bike shop, and they put it on an Orange Propel, omg it looks awesome. I put on a white saddle and really didn't like the way it looked, so i put the black saddle on with black bar and blue bar tape, matches the bike perfectly. Unfortunately you can't see it in the pictures i took.
On the Giant Site, it said it would come with Rs685 brakes, but ended up shipping with the new Shimano Rs785 brakes, which was awesome!
with XTR pedals for winter riding.
With Pink Speedplays for summer. Typical of all my bikes to have Pink pedals, my daughters prefer them.

I like the blue tires, as they match the color of the frame fairly close. However, I would tend to agree with the black tape to match the saddle for better symmetry. Or, keep the blue tape and get a saddle that matches the bar tape. Would that work? It still looks nice in my opinion, either way. I like the blue and white, and would really prefer it over the "you can have any color you want as long as it's black". Keep up the good work.

Jeeze, and here I am spending thousands to convert all my bikes to hydraulic discs.
I guess I should send back the hydraulic road discs I just got in the mail.
Btw, I know how back pressure works. I have this guy chillin' in my garage. It's a huge pain to get this thing slowed down though, usually takes me at least one lap if I don't lock the rear.

Only ride it at the track though.

Actually, the drops and the fork are bare carbon fiber. A better pic would have shown that detail. And the blue on the rear tapers to an end about 3 inches from the dropout.

Bikes: 2020 Trek Emonda SL6, 90's Vintage EL-OS Steel Bianchi with 2014 Campy Chorus Upgrade
Recently returned to cycling, resurrecting a mid-late 90's Bianchi EL-OS steel bike. Did a significant upgrade (2014 Chorus from 1996 Chorus, wheels, seat/seatpost). I like the looks of the bike 'in chrome' better than the now more carbon/black look. But being old I really needed the wider gearing, somewhat more aero wheels, etc. Have pretty much decided not to go after the fork. I dropped a tad over 3.5 pounds and got it down slightly under 19 pounds - I will live with that.

also 2014 and 2015 are identical frames. The 2014 is not red, it's the same orange and white. They just put on a different seat and group. You can tell because this is the only advanced pro frame that does not say advanced pro on it, even though it is. All their other bikes say advanced pro. Giant ended up not selling many of the 2014, in Canada they just liquidated all the 2014 about a week before the 15's arrived in the showroom. Also the boxed up 14's required the lbs to make the changes to the shifters.
i love di2, all my bikes have it. I refuse to go back to mechanical.
