Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

After looking into it more, I realize it's not the calipers themselves that have fins, but the bake pads you put in them. LOL, my bad.

correct, the only difference between the RS785 and the R785 calipers are the change to the new connection, moving forward Shimano will no longer use the banjo connection for their calipers.

That is way too many decals. You took it in the right direction, IMO, but still too many on the frame. Ideally, I'd like to see only the DT decal and a heart on the fork. The seat and chain stay decals really clutter it up for me. I know frame decals are nearly impossible to remove without affecting the finish, so you can help the situation by getting a plain black seat post and stem.

It would be very cool if the frame decals were dark and reflected red at the right angle. The wheel decals do make it a little much. just the word "easton" may be fine. but decals or not that's a good looking bike!

I don't know. It seems like some manufacturers can manage decals better than others. This little guy has the word Scapin written on it 17 times.

Matching font has a lot to do with it. And the decals are on the inside of the stays (and probably forks?) so they stick out a lot less.

Also, that is HOT.

Maybe no stickers and a silver cassette & chain to match the brake track

Simple yet elegant

This is what I pictured, wheel stickers are best when low key. A silver chain and cassette would make the bike pop just that much more.

Just finished this.. haven't dialed it all in yet so I'm sure the stem will go lower. And yes, I know the chain isn't in the correct spot for picture purposes.

Hot, no need to slam the stem, I like it just the way it is. Bikes with low stems just look uncomfortable, as long as you have the stem flipped the proper way and it's lower than the saddle it looks good IMO.

Tell me you're kidding, please. One of the core ideas of road bikes is being as low and aerodynamic as one can be while still making power. If you can't get that low because the bike is "uncomfortable" its not a bike problem... It's a you problem.
