Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Most excellent owl picture, Billy. I don't think we have many of those around here.

Today, my boy has a solo 2 hour interview for a kindergarten class that's a few years away. That seems odd to me.

WHOOOSSHHH does have some nice bikes, and nice motorbikes. I may be wrong, but I think he has more than one Harley.

I kind of like it, but I think that it would fall in to the "I wouldn't buy it, but I'd gladly wear it if it were given to me" category.

I would wear it if I knew I could ride to the top of the hill before everyone else, or contest the sprint to the city limit sign. I am pack fodder, so there is no way I would wear it.

The buttons being fake bothers me... I need jerseys but I can't stand typical Roadie Regalia... the Danny Shane stuff looks nice but it's buck$.

Something in a suitable tartan would be swell.

I know a guy here in Houston who once owned a 'traut. Stolen. Moved on to Masi. Funny coincidence, huh?

Good grief. Sometimes when I post from the new phone the actual post comes through and sometimes the only thing posted is "15".

What I intended to say is that I have cut two of them but neither was carbon, I don't think cutting anything carbon with a hacksaw would be a good idea, and using pipe cutters seems like it would be even less nice.
