Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Just attitudes. Perceptions, mostly.

Ironically, it's Duke player attitudes that makes so many people hate them, but I find them pretty down to earth this year.

Don't know any Spartan fans, but I'm guessing if you ask them why they like Michigan, they won't take it too fondly.

Sadie is 4 years old, coming from some owners who simply gave her up, over a year ago. She's been with a rescue organization since them.

The Spartans are playing REALLY well right now. Some experts had commented that they shouldn't even have been selected for the tournament.

Just shows to go ya, you never know.

Cute pooch.

The wife vows not to get another animal after all of ours pass (or at least take a long break), but I think that the house would just be too quiet without critters.

Yes, she's something special. The lady said she's never seen her take to anyone as readily as she took to me, which explains why it took her a year to get adopted.

Soon as they get her medical history confirmed she'll be joining the household.

Meanwhile, our pooch is going under the knife on Thursday. Going to remove a growth on her eyelid that has started to bother her and, since she'll be under, get the teeth cleaned at the same time. She'll have the cone of shame for 10 days, or so.

Is that poster a man? As in "Alex A Schwanden"
Or a woman? As in "Alexa Schwanden"

I have no idea what kind of engine I am. I'm only vaguely aware that there are different kinds of engines.

I'm kinda tempted by the Motobecane jerseys. If it was longsleeve for $40 I woulda bought it already.
