Sweet. This appears to be a pursuit frame? (What's that like to ride?)

Semi-pursuit? Top tube drops more than my Cannondale. Did 25mi yesterday and that was about all my hands could take. Cotton tape doesn't cushion at all. Next time I'll make sure to where my gloves.

Started working as a courier, local community helped out with every part on the build.

Well, I couldn't wait until after work, and tossed the last couple bits on this to make it rideable over lunch break. Forgive me for the jaunty saddle angle, I was in a bit of a hurry.

I cannot be the only one that thinks that the purple bar tape looks really out of place. The bike is sweet, but man o man, that tape. Yuck. Why purple?

Nah the purple is chic as ****. Black would be boring, red would be too matchy-matchy.

Not the only one, I think the purple takes away from the red/checkered combo. Still a cool bike.

If that was my bike, I would have gone with black and white tape, to pull the small amount of checkers on there out. I just don't understand the purple. Like it looks completely random and not thought out. The bike is sweet, don't get me wrong, but that tape just doesn't do it justice.
