This is bad info. OS stems which are 31.8 will work just fine with Deda 31.7 bars. They are in fact the same size, one rounded up, the other rounded down. |

Simple maths...THEREFORE thickness does matter. thickness as in how thick the space that you are trying to fill doesn't matter...as long as the shim is the appropriate size or thickness and shape to fit said space...understand now. or you could fit a 25.4 bar into a 31.8 stem as long as the shim fits or you could fit a 25.4 bar into a 26 stem as long as the shim is the appropriate size and shape and yes thickness thats what he meant |
