Snagged me this saddle for $25, not bad at all.

I just put on the MKS Sylvan Pedals today. The frame is a Raleigh Super Grand Prix. I believe it is one of the Japanese models, but I'm not for certain. 27" Wheelset, Vuelta Crank and Chainring- hey it was cheap.

That's a pretty sick whip. The crank set looks perfect with that frame. Keep it up.

What the **** is wrong with you? This is at least the third time in the past few weeks you've used that word. I LOATHE that word. Please stop. You sound like an eight year old. As much as some people dislike the word ****, I think I dislike this word more. You seriously need to head over to the Scat Enthusiasts Forum.

As for that Ciocc, I understand you are probably a tall person, but the nice lines of bicycles are made less nice when you head north of 60cm frames. It is kind of like how you don't see Yao Ming sized people as world-class ballerinos.

Don't be such a poopie-head.

edit: And what do you expect the Ciocc owner to do? Stop riding? Get a bike that doesn't fit him? What?

Nope. not at all.

Threaded one of the binding bolts on my alter stem so pulled some old thing out of the parts bin; it is a little long but works until something better comes along. Since it has a 31.8 clamp, I decided to get a set of the Deda pista bars.

The Thomson seatpost was a lucky find on CL...only $45 and it is in perfect condition. I am still playing around with the setup, the seat will come down a bit and I have a carbon fork that might find it's way onto the bike for winter....

i'm a poser

first fixie, trying to learn. so far having fun.:bike2: it's a budget build. It was a fuji mtb that some guy converted to a ss with 26's. totally f'd up the bike with tons of spray paint. I guess it was artsy?:wtf: Anyways, I shaved and powder coated it, threw on a craigslist special wheelset and bought some ebay horns, headset, stem and seat post. The chain I mcgyvered from some old crap I had laying around. Those are MKS sylvan pedals/cages and sugino xd 165m crankset 46/16 with tange sealed bb. I build old school bmx's, my first attempt at building a fixed gear. I'm waiting for a new saddle.

Purty job! :) Although your seat looks adjusted weirdly. Wish I had more time to work on my pet project.

EDIT: Just thought if you were looking for more upgrades to your bike, you might consider doing some detailing on the crown of your fork.

deathhare 11-11-08 04:30 PM

Fix bars, fix seat ASAP
