I hope those are silver spacers above the stem and not the bare steer-tube.

They're spacers, you can see the black compression cap deal on top of 'em. Just cause I used to bmx doesn't mean I ride without a compression bolt haha.

what rims would you suggest darth?

something that isn't a stupid deep profile.
shallow box section or very short aeroprofile. campagnolo strada or something.
or an open pro like...that Gitane above looks nice.

So you're saying all fixed gears should have low profile wheels? All deep v wheels are stupid?

I guess it would be cool if all bikes were the same.

EDIT: SARCASM

One of those Eighth inch Scramblers. Rides real nice. Sugino XD cranks, salsa 44t chainring, Ksyrium Elite Front wheel, Velocity Deep V rear laced to Surly hub, Truvativ Carbon Seat Post.

Can't find a bullhorn I like yet. Anyone got any suggestions that aren't a basic flop n chop?

His first complaint was that the size of the bike was aesthetically displeasing. Honestly, I don't know why we are even humoring him after a comment like that.

jpdesjar 11-12-08 02:06 PM

the ciocc is amazing let's move on

xg43x 11-12-08 02:23 PM

i never said anything about the size of the frame.
i think the seatpost is ugly and it would be better with different rims, yes, atlanta are ugly...and the chain could use a little slack.

As for that Ciocc, I understand you are probably a tall person, but the nice lines of bicycles are made less nice when you head north of 60cm frames. It is kind of like how you don't see Yao Ming sized people as world-class ballerinos.

nayr497 does not equal darthvader.

Jabba Degrassi 11-12-08 04:26 PM

Oops!

edit: You're still wrong.

That front rim alone warrants a frame respray ASAP!

Still need to sort out the pedals.

DARTHVADER 11-12-08 08:04 PM

hate to keep arguing but there is no slack here. it looks so tight it probably creeks andpops as he pedals.

kringle 11-12-08 08:06 PM

It looks pretty tight to me too.

chadbrochill17 11-12-08 08:09 PM

It does not "creek" or "andpop" I assure you.

4doorhoor 11-12-08 08:56 PM
