Purty job! :) Although your seat looks adjusted weirdly. Wish I had more time to work on my pet project.
EDIT: Just thought if you were looking for more upgrades to your bike, you might consider doing some detailing on the crown of your fork.

I wanted to post a pic of my SS conversion:
I just put on the MKS Sylvan Pedals today. The frame is a Raleigh Super Grand Prix. I believe it is one of the Japanese models, but I'm not for certain. 27" Wheelset, Vuelta Crank and Chainring- hey it was cheap. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3254/...b1569ba5_b.jpg Anyone have any suggestions on what i can do to further trick this out. Im kind of at a standstill with it |

+ getting nicer bullhorns that aren't flop & chop (maybe nitto) + consider a bar-end lever for those new horns that helps to conceal the brake cable more + foot retention via clips and straps + seat with a slimmer profile but it looks good. |

Saw the frame apart and add in metal to fill in the gaps to make the bike span the entire width of the room it is in, so you can hang it purely from tension formed when you wedge it between the walls. Kidding. :) I dunno what you are going for, but I know the previous poster suggested Nitto handlebars, they might have something ... I know they sell a lot of gold colored products and that appears to be a theme in your color scheme thus far. :) EDIT: And yeah, that is an ugly seat. |

pdx climber: Magic gear?

Mandatory "convert it back."
|
Considering the amount of laughs I get at some of the rigs in here, I'd say it's only fair. :)

I do think it would look awesome all blacked out, like the mad max of SS/Fixie |

no they aren't or i wouldn't have posted that.
i don't know why everyone thinks they need to have they ****nig chain tuned to a440. Besides that, the seatpost looks good and so do the rims. Not everybody likes the taste of DARTHVADER flavoured bikes. |
pdx_climber, i would ride that **** so hard. screw whatever haters may come, i bet that thing flies
|
what rims would you suggest darth?

SingleSpeed on the Cheap
I started out with a 1987 Bianchi Brava that I bought from a coworker:
http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/930...0817yx9.th.jpghttp://img98.imageshack.us/images/thpix.gif A little while after, I tore it down and added some bar tape, brakes, tubes, tires, and a light. http://img504.imageshack.us/img504/5...0870ib8.th.jpghttp://img504.imageshack.us/images/thpix.gif I'm currently running stock drivetrain components (34/15) and wheels. This bike is used mainly for cruising around but I'm finding that it's a bit too slow on the flats. I'm still looking into wheels/hubs and gearing that will be friendly near my hilly neck of the woods. |
Nice looking Brava.
I would suggest trying to get those bars leveled out so you have a comfortable riding position in the drops. You can always move the hoods around to you still get a good feel from them. But seeing as you put different levers on, that could be what you like riding. |
