Bianchi Brava. I finally got toe clips and straps. Fork is raw temporarily, hand polishing fork crown and dropouts. After that is all said and done I will tape it off and paint the fork legs ultra matte black.

Looks like the owner of that Anchor spent their last $5 on toeclips.

is it wrong to like that anchor? two allen wrenches will fix all the problems I have with it. If one has the cash than why not?

redfooj 10-01-07 02:35 PM

WTF is the saddle doing down there? You use it for scratching the inside of your thighs? If you sit on it then
a) the frame is way too large (in which case you can't really reach the bars so lets's move on to b)
b) it is way too low.
c) I'm wrong for some mysterious reason, maybe you're one of those (idiotic) people who photograph before they ride or adjust.

Test: sit on the bike, cranks vertical, one leg stretched out. Does your heel reach the pedal? Yeah, it does...

Wow ... thanks for the upbeat comments. Didn't realize I needed your permission to put together a bike that suits me (as opposed to you). But if you must know ... I fell more comfortable on a frame that's larger than most people of the same height. I have a rather long torso in relation to my height ... hence I feel uncomfortable on a bike with a top tube that's too short (I even have a 120mm stem on this bike to help stretch it out a bit). My main road bike is a custom with a long top tube ... so even an uninformed doof (such as your self) may approve.

Dude could have a bad back and like sitting more upright. So ummmm, some guy sets up a bike for actual riding in a way that is comfortable to him instead of accessorzing a track frame with aerospokes, risers, oury grips, and an njs certified seatbolt clamp and you give him crap????

Otto Rax 10-01-07 06:43 PM

YellowFixedGear 10-01-07 08:21 PM

Damn. It's been well over a year since I've posted on this site and my username is still active.
Many bikes have come and gone since then. I had to take off for a while because of ankle problems.

Here is my daily driver while my E.G. Bates is being painted glow in the dark blue.

It's nothing too fancy.
Mid 60's English track frame and fork. Still trying to track down the exact frame builder. The lugs on this guy are amazing.
Campy C Record Rear Hub/ Dura Ace front. Velocity rims
Mavic TT bars
Campy Record 165 cranks
Campy Record Seatpost
Unicantor Saddle
Etc.....
Etc...

Looking for a carbon wheel for this guy.. Anyone got one laying around???

This thread is called "YOUR Fixed Gear/SS Photos!", not "Find Photos of Total Strangers' Fixed Gear/SS on the Internet and Post Them". The bike should be in a different thread.
