yeah that's a pretty sweet custom.
although the vintage campagnolo crankset doesnt quite match.
and you should sell them to me.

Langster Pride!

ty151 12-29-08 06:52 PM

us langster owners get a lot of grief on here but i really love the way mine rides. Its solid, smooth and fairly light.

ZiP0082 12-29-08 06:59 PM

that langster would look great with the black deep-vs and the bright yellow even (rather than going mint green)... though you could possibly conceal the specialized logos if you wanted to make it look cleaner. i'd almost sell that as-is to someone looking for a yellow bike rather than powercoat everything... and then start fresh with a bike that's already the color you want it.

Yea i am gonna wait to get my black wheels and see how it looks. Im thinking i wanna switch out the seat, grips and chain and have the frame and fork be the only yellow on the bike...what do you think?

Jabba Degrassi 12-29-08 07:06 PM

My biggest problem with that bike is that I ****ing hate cabbies.

cause they're the same size and work the same way that a "fixed" front wheel or fork would?
stupid question?
i've got the same deal on my fixed gear

I am pretty satisfied with the bike now. Any suggestions? And I know the grip tape will get nasty, but I wanted to see how long it will last before it is disgusting to look at

http://i372.photobucket.com/albums/o..._photo/2-1.jpg

My sugestion would be to go to Home Depot and pick up some white cotton twine and then go to Rivbike for some easy directions on how to finish bar tape. Electrical tape is for electricians.

http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/q...n/DSC01148.jpg

Jabba Degrassi 12-30-08 09:41 AM

I did a bit of electrical tape under the fizik finishing tape, just because I find finishing tape hard to work with when the wrap isn't secured, and I felt it would be more secure that way, at any rate, you can't see the electrical tape, because the finishing tape is wider.

I'm pleased with the results, but I also OCD the hell out of my tape. The fizik logos are perfectly symmetrical. O_o
