funny he posted that...i told him already, but there's a bike with the exact same frame i see locked up sometimes in town here. i took a closer look at it one day, and those frames are really nice, sort of screaming for vintage campy parts and whatnot, a real classy sort of affair.

thirded.. GT track frames are like black jelly beans.. you either love them or you don't, and youre odds are 50/50 on what someone elses opinion is on them without asking.

Personally there's a reason: a large percentage of them were known to crack at the chainstay/bb join.

I rode a GTB for a year or so...It was fun, but nothing special. Quick sprinter, and shakes your teeth out on long rides.

58cm Soulcraft Groundskeeper frame/fork (production frame)
This has been my only ride this summer here in rural North Carolina, but it's held up great. Had it built up geared for a while, but way better fixed. Commute on it daily, plus Good for polo. Eno hub/salsa delgado hasn't let me down yet.

I was up there for SCAD graduation a few months back. I counted ten or 12 black IRO Mark V's up there with pink deep-v's. According to my friend who graduated, there are plenty of 'bicycle Nazi's' f-ing up traffic on a daily basis.

That's a Le Tour III from '78 with wheels from a motobecane, a suicide hub conversion with quick release. By the book!
