DoshKel- hot bike!

Looks like you would be better off with a shorter stem with less drop, and pushing back the saddle an inch. Or not. Who am I to know?

Still working on postion and such, and i'm also going to get the bars powdercoated black in a couple of days. Not sure if I like it so low, but i'll see after a month of riding or so.

Yea I usually don't ride the saddle like that, but I was trying out new things heh. I since pushed it back the the normal position.

Yea for real. I was actuall going to get the Deda stem that you have, but I saw that you were using it and how much it costed, so I decided to do this one :D. We can just say that we have the best bikes :).

Damn. Didn't your mama ever tell you if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all? People get so negative and mean here, what gives? I actually like the stem/bar combo. I kinda wish the stem didn't have the writing on it though. As for the "donate it to goodwill" comment, that's just being an ass to be an ass. People should take that kind of attitude somewhere else.

nolageek 09-19-06 12:26 PM

Oh, in that case....

nevermind.

:)

chillywater 09-19-06 01:27 PM

Set up feels real good right now, will make a couple changes when money allows. Will get a Thompson stem -15, with matching seatpost, running 46X16, will put a 15 or 14 on other side. Buying another bottle cage today because it is so dang hot. Love this bike.

Hehe.

shants 09-19-06 03:49 PM

as always, an exercise in ridiculousness:

the fluorescent jams totally melted the ccd of my camera. the top tube pad is neon green with orange applique "shants" that has pink threading... the rest of the thread is safety orange and the trim is a charcoal color. oh yes.

you can thank undertheweather for the abomination that is the top tube pad.

DoshKel 09-19-06 03:51 PM

Oh god. How is it that your bikes always are awesome looking, even when completely ridiculous?

br995 09-19-06 04:15 PM

Those pink grips give me the willies for some reason.

marqueemoon 09-19-06 04:20 PM

I am now seeing afterimages of that saddle everywhere.

trons 09-19-06 04:58 PM

i've always wondered about the nitto jaguar/bullhorn combo

46x15 = 82 gear inches! ! ! !

jacobpriest 09-19-06 05:39 PM

whats the big deal? i often find myself running 46x14. its a good size for long distance.

operator 09-19-06 05:45 PM

Seems like a pretty tall gear for anywhere that isn't pancake flat...

or i'm weak\

Accident 09-19-06 05:50 PM

shants bikes...absurdity at its finest.

It IS pancake flat here. Biggest hill for 200 miles is the 17th street overpass I think or maybe the manmade MTB hill they built at Oleta Park.
