Wow, your idea of the rims suits this bike very much - ride it safely :)

mrwhite 01-10-07 05:17 AM

no way......

Whoever got it on ebay wanted to swap it ASAP. I happened to be going to Sydney, so it worked out ace.

Mosquitos stickers on the tubing.

Funny that it was mosquitos that were used to initally transmit Myxomatosis.

You still want that disc wheel? ;)

See you on the road.

Good to see you're still rollin' on the Colnago, last I heard you were about to give it up! Nice to see you around again.

And you couldn't be bothered to clean all the grit off the frame and wax it?!

NNNN 01-10-07 03:40 PM

You'd have to ask my mechanic, I don't touch icky greasy parts. Just kidding, but I don't trust myself around BB's yet. I don't think it was especially time consuming though. How embarassing.

thanks man. It's good no one bought it. I was riding the road bike pretty hard for the last year and wanted a change like I do every year. I forgot how much fun and different the Colnago was to ride. I scored the HED when I shopping for a new front and the owner had a set hanging up. He destroyed the rear but the front was immaculate. I don't think he knows what kind of steal he gave me.;)

Nice to see another Bowery. I bought one a few months ago as a commuter.

I can't say, he might be reading. Let's just say the cosmos was in complete alignment for me at that time.

Thanks, it's a giant. Upgraded some stuff and it rides pretty fast. I use it for all around riding and club rides. also use it to get to work just down the hill.

Phil BBs may be installed without the accompanying cups, so it probably took much more time to actually screw in and align the cups than to make the Phil logo visible through the hub shell.
