Nice metallo. Very nice. It almost looks like your fork is bent.

rpc180 11-22-06 12:11 PM

His velospace link's got larger pictures :) Not quite a Bob Jackson - a Bridgestone.

DoshKel 11-22-06 12:13 PM

Heh. Thats why I just edited my post. I saw his velospace.

Nice bling picture with the lights :D.

what do you mean not a bob jackson?

ryand 11-22-06 01:27 PM

He was referring to a post that has since been edited. Somebody thought that it was a Bob Jackson.

Nice. That isn't a 110 rear hub is it? Doesn't look keirin to me, odd.
What type of bar is that? Width?

sniks 11-22-06 05:58 PM

mmmmm .......more Bridgestone love

bonechilling 11-22-06 06:02 PM

The bike is Keirin, and the bars are the original NJS Nitto 38cm
123s that the seller threw in, along with the original Sugino
75 BB and the NJS Tange headset. The hub is definitely a 120,
just a standard 28 hole Dura-Ace.

I just checked out your Velospace, and we definitely have
some brother/sister Bridgestone stuff going on.

Nice! Don't you honestly think that top tube protector is a bit... much, though? Cut a peice of inner tube and carefully wrap it around the top tube with white electrical tape... for me.

PS what saddle is that? Its a more lemony yellow whereas my yellow saddle is more orangey and doesn't match my frame :(

All aesthectis aside though, thats a serious machine. Toe overlap?

bonechilling 11-22-06 06:16 PM

Nah, that top tube protector is my old BMX bar-pad. I keep it
around for protection, plus anything with a lightning bolt will
make you go faster. I've never actually raced with it, of course.

The saddle is an old APC Kevlar thing that I've had for years. I
am not particular fond of it, but it's perfect for the track, since
it's got Kevlar on the sides to prevent it from ripping open when
I spill. In any event, it was free and it gets the job done.

Toe overlap is never really a problem for me. I can hit my toe
to the wheel in just the right spot, but I learned early how to
turn the bike with my body to avoid it.

Dov Charney seems like kind of a creep but I don't think he's given Rick Santorum any money. That bike is awesome. **** the haters. The end.
