I have black bars, they just fit my other stem. Why get a whole new set of bars when I can spend much less and powdercoat them?

DoshKel, go with black cloth tape just on the drops, trust me. Oh yeah and wear gloves, trust me on that one too.

I'm thinking about the bars black and white grips on top (since thats where I ride most of the time). And of course I wear gloves :).

Here's my 1976 Huffy, finally finished it after repainting(screwed up now), coverting the BB to a 3-piece and not a one piece, and just cut the bars to have temporary bull horns. im hoping to bump up the gear ratio to 46x16 or 44x16, but still havent found a chainring to match.

as you can tell the frame design is very slack and made for comfort, but i like it. In the near future i will find a fork that will make it look better, but for now this works.

That stem on the Pista Concept - while probably very expensive - looks like a cheap mtb stem flipped.

yea. it definetely looks cheap. cheap mtb stem. mismatched bar/hub combo...go donate it to goodwill or something since it obviously doesn't look comfortable to ride either...

Only reason I said definetely wear gloves was because I recently went on a 55 mile ride on my usually track only bike (it only has tape on the drops). Blister-city from riding on tops and shoulders because I didn't have my gloves with me. Your bike definetely looks cool though, you got style son.

Dayum, Doshkel's bike looks nice although I'd need a chiropractor riding w/ a drop that steep.

the bike's at Joes. Pete's tuning the bb so itll swirl like earth balance on your lips. my white backup suffered a serious explosion today from all the damned glass from the FSU Clemson football game. Shredded the tube and tore the tire pretty bad, but no worries. I'm picking up the bike fully built thursday since it's my only day off, till then! 10 hail mary's for its final completion

I bought it used, hence the fork and threadless headset. I'd ideally like to switch to threaded, but don't have the funds for such an unnecessary change right now. And yeah, the wrap doesn't match the wheels, but it's close enough for me at this point.
