No - and I agree. The desired setup is Campy Atlanta 96's laced to polished sheriff stars. I'm also going to slowly build it up all campy as parts come available to me. I have a roadbike version of this frame with all campy components.

This vision will be realized one day, but right now this is just going to have to do!

I agree..but have been trying to be a little nicer.

cassette 09-28-06 06:50 PM

get rid of the deep v's. It's no bareknuckle.

Learn_not2burn 09-28-06 06:52 PM

Looks amazing now, but once you get the new wheelset on it, it'll just be completely breathtaking.

notice that i just asked if I would be a jerk. I didn't actually say anything about the wheels. That being said, its an awesome bike that deserves a more classic wheelset.

That frameset is probably from the mid-90's. Other than the name, I don't how "classic" it is. Definitely hot though. Nice bike Chris! I'm jealous!!! Can't wait to see it all built up they way you envision it.

Jesus god why did you pay over a grand for that frameset? Sure it's sexy, but this track bubble's gotta burst!

Tangsooyuk 09-29-06 01:16 AM

where can you get a Colnago for under a grand? point me in the direction, please.

unaesthetic 09-29-06 02:56 AM

Those are square tubes, yeah?

Either way, nice saddle.

piwonka 09-29-06 08:01 AM

nah, those tubes are pretty cylindrical/circular

shants 09-29-06 08:38 AM

the seat tube is definitely doing some of that square-ish/clovershaped deal.
