i found them on an old roadmaster that someone was throwing away, they were the only things worth salvaging
They're kinda like a cross between major taylors and midge bars

Will be losing the red tape at some point. It was all I had, as the original idea was going to be sky blue with red lugs, but painting the lugs ended up being more difficult than I had imagined to get it to look good.

Great color!

I'm thinking about painting my conversion that color as well. Looks very pretty :).

Very long. I think my inseam is about 33 1/2".. I am ridiculous. I'm getting a new crankset for my bday on the 19th of Oct. Those things are awful.

I actually really like the forks that come on the caynes, much better than forks that come on similarly priced bikes.

acavengo 09-27-06 08:52 AM

33½" inseam?! How tall are you?

The angle of that photo makes it look ridiculously slack. If you hadn't said what it was (and covered up the dropouts) I would have guessed an old touring conversion.

ryand 09-27-06 11:48 AM

chris, the original paint job wasn't ugly enough for you?

no but seriously, whats with the green?

jacobpriest 09-27-06 11:51 AM

when i looked at it i thought it was an old conversion with dropouts welded on
