i really want a pink turbo, and i'm almost certain that i've seen pictures of pink and lime green ones before, but haven't found any info on them at all.

i guess they're just once in a blue moon ebay deals.

I got my Turbo at the Trexler Town Swap Meet. NOS!

mcatano 08-10-06 10:43 AM

I have two striped Turbo Bios (black & white and yellow & grey), both of which came from eBay for around $8-10ea.

Yay :D. Finally, after 3 years of riding a conversion (that I love), I get a real track bike. I love it to death already. Later down the road when I am not poor as hell, i'll get some nicer components. Thing is crazy light also.

And jonb... I swear I didn't know until I got it heh. Least my decals are a different color : /.

Edit for better pictures. I still suck at taking pictures though :(.

I love their Celeste, but I love this paint job more :D. Plus I don't like decals all over my bike... but whatever.

Thats my Velospace entry. The cost was $650, which includes:

- Frame and fork
- Headset, stem and bars
- Seat, seatpost and Bottom Bracket.

Thanks for saying you like it :D.

Luke-

DAMN YES

I'll email you soon, I got a new frame as well but it needs some work before pictures. The BK didn't fit quite right so someone else on this board is now riding it.

Are decals no longer fasionable? It seems everyone wants to strip them off.

When the decals aren't on bikes that shouldn't be touched, I say do whatever with them. I mean... Bianchi written all over my bike is great and all, but the Concept isn't a work of art. It is just a really nice frame :). Some bikes look really awesome with decals... but mine doesn't (in my opinion).

beard 08-10-06 06:41 PM

i dont buy bikes for their decals :S

jus converted this afternoon. need to pickup a halfchain link tomorrow to correct the chain saggg.
1988 schwinn worldsport

(its a freewheeled singlespeed...so dont hate the brakes(just hate the brakr cable)

total cost: about 20 bucks.

the freewheel..and having a shop take off the freewheel..threw them $5..I didnt have the tool tat I would never use again( not the normal freewheel tool) and tool cost 15...so good deal.

The Beard 08-11-06 12:54 AM

eeeek!
thats a long ass cable. what happened to stream line? did that go out of style?

Agent_Embryo 08-11-06 01:00 AM

seriously. does it hit you in the face when you hit bumps?

killsurfcity 08-11-06 06:32 AM

tedc it looks like you have horizontal dropouts. why do you need a half link? from your position in the dropouts it looks like you have another 1/2 inch you could move back.

TedC 08-11-06 08:28 AM

the cable was liek that when I found the bike.

they are horizontal..BUT they arent cut out all the way like alot of schwinns...I cant get it to sit any further bck because the dropouts are worn out rght where it would sit, and as I tighten the axle..it slips out.

So I might just grind them, and add a full link(its honestlt not in there enough to trus riding on it until I lengthen the chain)
or just add the half.

Learn_not2burn 08-11-06 09:35 AM

Finally a crappy pic of my bike, all non-driveside, crappy angle goodness of it.
