Okay, next you think about the word "most" and what it means in that context. Take a look at this page and tell me how many bars you can find with a 25.4 CD. http://www.benscycle.net/index.php?m...ath=75_128_129
nitto B-115 ROAD bar. nitto B-135 RANDO bar. nitto B-617 PROMENADE bar. nitto RM-016 MUSTACHE bar. also at universal cycles you can get: soma oxford bar. soma sparrow bar. nitto flat street bar. dimension road bar. face it, calling a stem a track stem because it has an NJS stamp and a 25.4 clamp diameter is dumb. |

No dumber than calling a stem with an NJS stamp and a 25.4 clamp a road stem because it's level.
show that stem to anyone* and they'd call it a road stem. *except yourself after the point that you tried to this stupid point. |

Agreed. But they don't put it on non-track components.

I was thinking of getting a nice frame and powder-coating it white and using my gold deep-vs but it seems that is passe.
Pink frame with gold veeps? |

someone already stated why those stems (in a traditional road extension angle) have an NJS stamp.

a. Nihon Jitensha Shinkōkai, or Japan Keirin Association, often abbreviated NJS, is the council responsible for fostering Japan's bicycle industry and regulating keirin racing in Japan. b. Keirin is a track cycling event in which racing cyclists sprint for victory. now, please stop. |

you should have at least gone up to the 55. it looks like you would be riding over the front too much.
|
im still iffy on the size...the 53 kilo is actually 56.5 c-t....if i got the 55 it would be 58 c-t. seems huge.
i can always order another frame from bikeisland |
