I saw this thread and thought you guys could tear my bike up a bit.
Tighten the chain, switch the stem (it looks like one of those failure prone Modolos mentioned elsewhere on the forum), lose the decals on the wheels, go to black cable housing for the brakes (the blue doesn't match and black is less visible), get some blue Oury grips, get some better pedals (with clips), and lose the computer.

But whatever, I'd still ride it as it is now, minus the chain slack and the dangerous stem.

Now tighten that chain, swap that stem, and go ride it!

im preety much crying

You have too much blue going on there, get a black chain and cables at least and maybe some bullhorns, road drops, drops or cut down the bars a little so they are not so huge. Other than that not bad

I'm usually playing the devil's advocate on poorly choiced colored components..
but you've really got too much going on there. I can't say much for the aesthetics as these other members would.
But I did think you made it look very much as a cool department store bicycle. (not that you should value my opinion)
So.. one or two links off the chain will do. And maybe the bars.. just do something with them.

:o

Well now lets see... first question, is your handle a reference to your size? If so, then by all means keep the comp, it will be good motivation (I was pushing 220# when I started riding hard like 15 yrs ago and dropped to around 160#, then we had a kid...). Personally, I like tracking my time/speed/distance on my bikes and could care less about cool factor.

Living a hour outta G'ville, I know how travel through town can be, that being said you may want to consider shortening those bars, or maybe running narrow drops (space between mirrors aren't always as wide as the trails).

Although the colored cable housings and two tone seat are a great idea, they don't really match the other blue on the bike. If you're going for street cred, swap those out too, if you're going for fitness...
ride on and don't worry about what others think.

btw, what frame etc. have you got there?
