30+ lbs of raw steel entertainment. It was found in the trash, stripped down, and JB-Welded its way to fixed-geardom.

It squeaks like my college roomate's bed. Lucky f*cker. ;)

Crazy tilt on that rack - how are you supposed to haul beer on it?

Replace the rear squish with a peice of pipe.... then it would be Ghetto fixed.

The rack is tilted on purpose. Its for getting the beer up the steep hills.

Asthetics:

Or performance:

Talk about a wide choice of hand positions...

Or maybe i'll just not have to make the decision between drops and bullhorns:

Picked it up from the powder coater last night, did the flake and filled in the lugs today. Sorry there's a thousand million pics but I'm a little exited...

br995 10-06-06 07:17 PM

Sivat, if you don't keep it that way we're going to soap-sock you, a la Full Metal Jacket.

It's OK, I have plenty of time to look at 1,000,000,000 pictures.

That's a billion if you were wondering. But which way would i keep it? I think i like the nitto promenade bars best. I still have a few other sets of bars in the garage to try if i want to.

baldylocks 10-06-06 07:43 PM

Picture 2 wins. Go for the asthetics.

No way, dood. Set-up 1 gives you options for either leisurely cruising or ball-busting racing. There's no in between, anyway.

baldylocks 10-06-06 07:54 PM

I'm a little amused at this debate.

DoshKel 10-06-06 07:56 PM

Sivat... that is amazing. I agree, if you don't keep you are the worst. Not really, but yea.

After seeing all of them, I say go for the 1st option. The two drop bars option is sweet, but the north bars are amazing.

p3ntuprage 10-06-06 08:23 PM

promenade + drops = win

i'm literally awed.

would adding a set of aero bars be over-egging the bar pudding?
[deda ones aren't too ugly]

Unfortunately, given the sexiness of the frame, theres no way I can keep it like that. It does make me realize why sheldon brown does the weird bike experiments he does. What started as a joke ended up being kinda cool. I would consider getting a beater and converting to a threadless stem with a long steerer just to do it for real.

bikeage 10-07-06 01:08 AM

Damn Sivat, we should ride together sometime. We both live in the same city!
