Apologies for reposting, but I felt it necessary to correct a couple of the glaring flaws from my original post. First off, the color balance should now be correct. Turns out the camera was set to "Tugsten" the first time around, which inadvertently poisoned the photo with that awful blue tint. Secondly, the colors of Belgium are now correctly displayed on the top tube. Apologies to Walter Godefroot and the people of Belgium for that unforgivable oversight. Thanks for all the compliments. Enjoy.

i know that, but which ones. those look deeper than the 67-39 bars...but might be because my headtube is longer than yours.

EDIT: nevermnid, just looked at your velospace.

Here's my Peugeot. He's not much, and he looks pretty ridiculous, but I've put a lot of work into him, converting, fixing, SLOWLY upgrading, while making sure he keeps running smooth. He's still got some problems, and some say he's ugly, but he's all I got and I love him.

That's a Biopace chain ring on the outside there. I just needed something to fill that space and it looks pretty funny, spinning alongside a regular ring.

That Redline 29er a few pages back was dizzope. Looks like you're one of the smaller big-wheel riders, though. You liking it?

Doesn't anyone trade me my 120 cinelli track stem for you 90 or 100 cinelli track stem? or even cinelli road stem in 26.4 90 o 100mm.

Oh man. What happened to the low profile box section rims!? Those Atlanta's need to go!

Tangsooyuk 11-04-07 05:21 PM

Beautiful bike Sniks. I see it didnt take long for you to start changing things up. What you going to do with that sheriff star wheelset?

it was the Atlantas or white Deep V and aerospoke.
they were not box rims they were semi aero nisi mixer rims.
however I think they are 27 inch rims cause I can't get a 700c tire on it fer nothing.
the atlantas are temporary.
the other wheels need some cleaning and TLC. but the are the reason I bought the bike.

jet sanchEz 11-04-07 05:45 PM

Can you link me to the photos of what the Pini looked like before? The Atlantas are nice but semi-aero nisis sound nicer....

But what about the original photo you had posted? It had tires on them then.

they were all cracked and I broke 3 tire irons getting them off then could not get another tire on so I think they are 27 inch .

It's a Raleigh XXIX, and I'm 6 feet tall even lol. I just bought a 410mm thomson seatpost that will be going on. I did buy a medium frame, just because I like the tight feel of a smaller frame on single track. My inseam is 34", and I think I have some ridiculous amount of clearance on the raliegh(like 8-9 inches??). Anyways, it's a blast.

Ooops, I've been lusting after a Flight Monocog 29er for a while now, and it begins with 'R,' give me a break.

But yeah, looks nice. And small.

johnprolly 11-04-07 06:28 PM

Yeah, 650. Barspins and ****. This is my toy bike. It's like a big bmx. Light and fun. I've never had a HED3 before and it's such a crazy sensation riding one on a windy night... a "wooooops" sensation.

cc700 11-04-07 07:54 PM

what kind of seatpost is that? nvm, found it, miche supertype.
also,

johnprolly 11-04-07 08:07 PM

the Supertype is really nice. A cinch screw holds the saddle to the clamps so you can adjust the saddle angle without loosening the saddle from the post.

It's an 18" bike...just looks small because the tires are effing HUGE. The large was 20" and just felt awkward.

mugatu 11-04-07 09:41 PM

yea sniks, those Atlanta's look awful
they'd be much better suited for my bike

I actually dig those fenders with the green.
And no shame in an ugly bike - beauty is in the eye of he who has put hours of work into the bike :D
