My bike
 

It's not a rensho, but I finally got my bike the way I like it, so I get to post pictures. It's a 58cm Mark V (duh), with the stock Aerohead wheels and Formula hubs. The tires are Kendas that I got at the Bike Show for $10, and they're sweet. Modolo Xtenos road bars and Cinelli Unica tape. Bontrager stem with a big B, (my name's Ben) on the front. Performance blue eggbeaters, a Selle Flite saddle and the stock seatpost. When the Cinelli tape needs replacing, I think I'll tape the bars yellow.

It sure seems nice not to have to worry about paint chipping like on my Bridgestone. Nice champagne steel there.

That is why it was my beater, but now it has moved on.

my most recent incarnation of frame and parts...i'm trying to get down to like 2 bikes total.i want this to be my main ride,i'll give it a week or two before i start selling anything else off.
Mid-90's cannondale, superbe pro HS,BB, cranks 167.5 48T. Formula/white deep v's (superbe pro's are still on tubulars for now). 18T surly cog. MKS peds and clips. Thomson post/maroon B17. Nitto dynamic stem/ Hellbent risers. The sky-high bar position is due to me being a touring drummer, and getting freaked out about ****ing my wrists and god knows what else up. stem has been lowered about a cm since photo was taken though. This **** is light, stiff and nimble.

Yes! Bring the love my people! i was gonna put one of those saddles where it's just like two circles of foam,one under each azz cheek, and a big ol' beach cruiser bar on it, but i figure we'll go one step at a time.

i think (besides functionality) the risers give it a utilitarian
look that compliments its "urban environment".

Thanks for posting pictures of my bike in context to prove that it really needs two toptubes and membership of a tall bike gang.

I am not sure what it is about them, But that looks great, not to mention pulling off the pink real well.

I actually like the look of risers a lot better when compared to drops on your bike.

Amazing bike man... really. I love the color as well... even if it does resemble poop ;)

What's the point in running cantis if you're just gonna have them right up against the rim? Those are going to pack up with mud in no time at all if that thing ever sees some dirt.

edit: oh yeah, pretty bike, etc.

the bike will never ever see mud, it will see dirt but no mud
it is mostly for runnin over track bikes

that kelly is freaking awesome.

imagine that, all this praise for a bike with brakes, big tires, and *gasp* a freewheel.

All bikes should be praised :p
