steel nitto bars, cut down, with stainless steel caps brazed on by me. soyo grips. nitto road stem

tserv and kamikaze seat tube sticker form the tserv'ers at worlds.

campy 80's pista hubs, cranks, and headset.

red and yellow

Mattlikesbikes 11-03-05 04:23 PM

I figured it out for myself at least

Yellow frame red accents ---bad
Red frame yellow accents --- deliciously good

absntr 11-03-05 04:24 PM

More red and yellow, sort of an inverse. And someone said it looked like McDonalds too. I don't have the yellow tape on there anymore since it's more of a gold anyway. And I'm using Strong G's now.

reo, mgm grand, circus circus, the venetian, luxor, and the mustang ranch

Tioga chain found on Ebay. NOS, but BMX specific, so it's a tad short.
Yeah, pretty gay, especially when I ride in leather chaps, or use words like "tad" ;)
I find those Ground Up frames to be really crudely made. Some nice ideas, but the workmanship makes me think that I'm gonna see bolts sticking out the sides of the headtube.

Just repainted my SS with a fresh Red Metallic Coat. What do you guys think...Also added new pedals and seat.

bostontrevor 11-04-05 09:25 AM

Wow, I don't know what's up with that track bike, but somewhere someone's missing a good chunk of their truck bed.

It has to be intentionally "industrial" looking because other Ground Up stuff I've seen is really polished and good looking.
