Those deep purple Deep V's are refreshing, since I've been seeing rainbow colours lately.
Are those tires Michelin's, or Continental's ?

Lookin' good nine. Simple and clean? Clean and simple. :)

Neither surprisingly enough. Trackcycling.co.uk, 20 or 25lbs. I think it was like 20 for the straps 5 for shipping? I dunno, way less than the 100 trackstars asking. Def not down with that. And shipping from the states would have added up to about just the same. They're übercomfy though, try em.

thanks! those are vittoria rubinos. they feel great, but i have had two flats with them so far despite the kevlar. then again i live in a city of glass. i wanted them in white, but i can't seem to find them. aramdillos are the only tires that never punctured, but they rode like rocks.

benny 12-10-05 02:12 PM

i heard vittria stopped making em in white... unfortuantly

onetwentyeight 12-10-05 02:15 PM

Yea they did. I was bummed, I of course found out about that AFTER I painted my frame white....

ImOnCrank 12-10-05 02:51 PM

Dude i killed my white rubino today. Not a big fan of them.

i just took her out for a short spin to check out the surf before the sun dived into the pacific. life is expensive here on the south-west coast line - but then - it's december, not a cloud in the sky, 78 degrees, and i'm wearing t-shirts at night - love it!

* sashae - thanks for the r-hub

Sun, surf, 78 degrees?!

That's hotter than any bike!

Is the PD hiring?

Hell, I'd be a drug mule to live there...

yeah, but what's the average lif-expectancy of mule? shorter than a cop by bit i'd guess ;)

gravityhurts 12-10-05 08:26 PM

rg---

as a windy city cop, your in the crime fighter super bowl

here in san diego, you'd be issuing sun block violations

besides, your making a third more than our guys

they (sdpd) frequently stop by our fire station complaining about their salary and rightfully so.

df---

your approval is humbly accepted

I'm gonna get one of those funny squirrel hats so I can pretend I'm a cop from Fargo!

That's your second (at least?) 650c bike, isn't it? I'm guessing you like that size, but could you talk a little about why?

Just curious.

sashae 12-10-05 08:45 PM

Glad you like the hub... hope it keeps you rolling smooth :)

jb----

yeah, i do favor the hair trigger response, acceleration, stiffness, and overall lower center of gravity afforded by the smaller wheels; not to mention the shorter wheel base too.

unfortunately for me, at 6'1" with a rather long inseam, the hollands 53 c-c seat-tube is proving to be a bit cramped. so, don't be shocked if appears on ebay.

Hmm, sounds intriguing. 53cm is about my size, too.

hmm.

I like those hubs. I like them a lot. Nice job on the bike (straighten out that top tube protector!) ...
