Well this makes fixed gear #3 in Dublin and the point at which my wife has officially declared herself to be embarrassed to be seen with me as I whip out the camera to shoot a random bike on the street.

I like to see when people throw their bike up on a background and show where they are, so here's a little scenery. My girl (the photographer) helped me take these of my pretty recently converted Peugeot.

Nice, but tip those bars down.

wow great shots and background, your girl has talent. And I like those peugeot frames with the red to yellow color stripes, I've seen them in black but white looks even hotter.

Nice conversion!

teia, where on campus were the pics taken? i was at cornell from '96-'00, lived in cascadilla and all over collegetown. miss the gorges and, believe it or not, the snow.

teiaperigosa 12-12-05 06:51 PM

thanks for the 'nice's...I feel good that I really do like how my bike was transfigured by the conversion. I like the handlebar tilt right now, because I can ride them like flip and chops, and still use the drops in aero mode.

habitus, they were taken at the gorge spot at the bottom of University Ave...I think the park is called Cascadilla park actually..and yes, the gorges are great. When it's cold I like when it starts snowing here because then 's not always raining (and cold rain is no fun).

oh...and... shout out to my michelins...they hold me down

Pffft, road bars with no brakes don't make sense if you tilt 'em down. With the touring style tilt, you can use the shoulders too, not just the tops and drops. Nice ride.

love it! those too wide for you, though?

chimblysweep 12-13-05 03:55 PM

it's the soma noah's arc bars. they sweep back, so they're not really that wide. but i'll probably end up chopping 'em off.

yeah, those look nice. i go back and forth between flat bars and risers and those look like they have benefits of both (e.g., curviness + no rise). tell us how you like them after a while!

absntr 12-13-05 04:04 PM

Chimbly, as you already know, I love it.

sashae 12-13-05 04:15 PM

I feel like this forum plays a large role in the care and feeding of 3Renshos world wide.

Another one saved!

Looks cool :)
