i dont know which one youre talking about.. but mines a ciocc track fork annd i think his is too

benny 09-17-05 11:39 AM

same here - stock ciocc track fork. Unfortunately mine has some rust on the underside.

I said it's a work in progress because I basically took parts from my paramount and switched them over except for the white perfed flight (ebay find!). I need more parts to get the paramount up and running.

I am selling my celeste bainchi to make money for parts. Wheelset, bars & stem.

sloppy robot 09-17-05 11:43 AM

im into te edwins.. especially the script "e" on the fork... cant wait to see it built

yah - I caught that too. I was almost tempted....ALMOST. But I realized that I have enough to contend with right now. Couldn;t have gone to a more deserving rider - now bring that track iron out to the velo!
Scrubtrack 2 in the works...

Don't think I've ever posted photos of my track bikes here. Nice afternoon to kill some time on the roof.

Cripes that's a hot crew. What straps are you running on the latter two?

do all those have campy hubs?

onlythebest 09-18-05 06:14 PM

the bar/stem combo on the pog is amazing...cinellis?

luckycat 09-18-05 06:51 PM

Calculator, thanks. The straps on the pog are bertoluccis, from some shop in milan that had a team as well(via ebay). The tommasini has silvas and some random non laminated leather straps, ghetto double on a superbe pro pedal.

Benny, campy c-record hubs on the Pogliaghi and Cannondale, shimano dura ace ten group on the tommasini(right down to the dropouts).

And no, unfortunately it's a nitto bar on a cinelli stem. Not that there's anything wrong with nittos, but everything else on the bike is italian, just haven't been able to find(afford) a wide cinelli steel bar.

chrisj 09-18-05 07:33 PM

luckycat - your Pogliaghi is stunning. I'm also feeling the Dura-Ace 10 Pitch cranks.

jonb 09-19-05 08:38 AM

the tommasini is my favorite, thats awesome!

luckycat 09-19-05 10:38 AM

Thanks guys, I love them all. The tommasini is probably the most interesting though, an italian made bike built with japanese tubing(tange aero) and parts(the 10 pitch stuff). Unfortunately it's too small for me, and has been the ten years I've had it(maybe subconsciously I hoped it would grow over time...). So it's tentatively for sale, but Ceya has dibs for now.

so did you take everything off except for the "R"? what gear are you running again? when did you order the bullhorns? I ordered mine on the 12th and I am getting antsy (even though I still don't have the bike to put them on).

Looks sick! (I was the guy on the truing stand that day). Funny when I got there that day I saw those yellow rims and I though OMG that is awful, but then watching you put it all toghether I revised my opinion immediately - A great combo! Again,it looks awesome!

jbaum - did you ever see Eugene around town? His old bike was the exact color combo! You probably know each other - it's a small town.

jonb 09-19-05 05:29 PM
