Peesta #45984123541. Was for sale for about 4 hours, but then I realised bike > food.

I have no idea who made the frame. The guy who sold it to me said it was a Kabuki frame, although I've also been told by somebody else that it's a Carlton.
The two black stripes are strips of velcro that would normally hold a fender/deflector on the downtube. There are no eyelets anywhere on the frame and there's nowhere near enough clearance under the fork for a real fender, so I had to make do with that, or get sprayed by everything coming off the back of the front wheel. As a side note, what's the value on a pair of Dura-Ace and Record high-flange hubs on eBay nowadays? I want to trade the tubies for a set of clinchers and I figure it'll be better financially if I sell both sets of the vintage hubs and just lace up some Surly hubs to Open Pros or Velocity Aeroheads. |

I ride in to work every morning blasting down huntington. and I ride home that way too. I live on the corner of south huntington and huntington. I don't really stopmost of the times, you might catch me standing at a light sometimes though. the fork looks like wood, I've got bullhorns, and I don't look very friendly. if you see me, say hi. |

m. I'm also still trying to find a place that has cheap clinchers. |
Techone,
I like the Gitane, I was just looking at one today. But could we see your deck collection too? Please? |

For a while I kept a lot of my old H-Street boards, Hensley, Allen, Magnusson and quite a few Powell's. I always loved the graphics on the Ray Barbee ones -- my favourite being the patchwork doll person on the hydrant. |
i heart your room.

"Mom, did you throw out my old Vision Streetwears?"

what happens when you grab a bunch of random parts and make a dirt machine? you end up with a bike that looks like jim-bob owns it.. |

My new ride, my not-so NJS Watanabe.
edit: The NJS purists will be upset to learn that I respaced the rear triangle to accept a 120mm IRO hub, but ask if I care. :) I'm pushing 46/16 gearing around the crappy New Orleans streets and couldn't be happier. The toe overlap on this thing will take some time to get used to. :) Other specs: Nitto track bars ITM Open 800 Stem IRO Cranks, Wheels and Cog. Hatta Swan headset Sugino 75 bottom bracket (need to get a longer spindle!) Brooks Team Pro Saddle http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d2...k/sideview.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d2.../sideview2.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d2...eek/front2.jpg |
man...I skated with Fred Smith and Sam Cunningham (block head fame) waaaay back. nice collection...I just gave up my old decks. Barbee #1, Lucero, Neil Blender, Fred Smith original, Hosoi etc...
thanks! |

That Brooks saddle looks really snooty.
