That's my friend Frank. We ride together sometimes. That movie is a result of him getting laid off from BEA Systems and not having anything better to do. Coincidently, the first time I did the SF-->SJ ride all the way was with Frank, he got his two weeks notice as soon as he walked in to work that day. Nice guy...

Q23 12-15-05 07:53 PM

so it it was all your fault  :D

46x17 12-15-05 07:53 PM

change that avatar back Judah.

benny 12-15-05 09:27 PM

the tree chain poster is good. You do it Dubteka?

46x17 12-15-05 09:51 PM

yes I like the tree, flower ones too.
The cyclist however really needs to relax when doing his trackstand, it'll look better.

benny 12-15-05 09:59 PM

alot of those posters abuse photoshop

eyefloater 12-15-05 10:12 PM

*sigh* ... those were good to look at until you plastered them w/ copyright info.

I liked the chain one the most - nice concept, nice design.

ok, so it's gloomy and freezing out here, so i decided to cheer myself up a little with something shiny...
pics are before and after, thanks to juvi-kyle for the hook-up

shants 12-16-05 02:20 PM

i think i might too, but i'm gonna rock the new ones for a bit too see if i change my mind.

i really dig the fluted style cranks.

it's also likely that those are the kind of cranks that were originally on the bike...

chimblysweep 12-16-05 02:59 PM

i like shiny things. the new ones are shiny. i like the new ones.
(ok, back to drinkey office party for me.)

DerekRI 12-16-05 03:07 PM

I like the vintage look (1st set) way better. Sharp, clean edges, not all bubbley. They're both sweet though :)

teiaperigosa 12-16-05 03:10 PM

both are tight...the old ones are elegantly oldschool...the new ones are elegantly newschool

is the whole bike posted up here anywhere?

Indeed. I had some Panaracers that were too tight. Vredesteins only for this one. The clearance photos are the tubular set.

In the snow photos? Yes. The non-Italian wheels that I recently got. I decided riding through the snow would be a good workout for them, heh.
