paint stripper takes it all the way down to alum or steel. will not just take graphics off. do it your self. a beedblasting place can do it too, no chemical cleanup.

http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...rsontrack3.jpg i think this is a 58cm keith anderson track frame. i have not found very much on anderson, just this page and the comments of a few people who have his frames. if anyone knows anything about his frames, i'd love to hear it. the pictures aren't that great, but it's not quite done yet. i'll take some better ones when i finish up changing out a few things. |

I am pretty sure he is a teacher at United Bicycle in Oregon now. He is also a painter. He will be painting my new custom in a month or so. http://www.keithandersoncycles.com/ |

seriously i am tired of my constant hip bruise. |
My bar tape was getting dirty after a year and a few months:
http://www.werstnet.com/site_images/...Dirty_Tape.jpg Then I busted out the goo gone and polished off the bars before putting the wrap back on, and decided I just couldn't cover them all again. So I only did the drops, which I never ever actually use: http://www.werstnet.com/site_images/...Fresh_Wrap.jpg I'm about to pull the chain off and do a deep clean of the drivetrain, then I'll take her out for some daytime pics for you all... |

http://i.pbase.com/o4/17/560217/1/58655492.DVC00088.JPG This is my first road bike, I built it out of a goodwill bike, 1978 Schwinn Varsity and some used parts at this local bike shop/barn. I really enjoy the single speed, and I'd like to try fixed. The pics are crappy; from my video camera. I just finished it today so I'm excited. It's nothing special, but I did most of it myself and was out the door for $60. |

here's my first fixed. i love it. i know its not track geometry, but i love not having any overlap, my last ss had HEAPS, like half my foot. the frame is 56cm steel motobecane "grand touring" ($40 on ebay!!) shimano 600 cranks and chainring (52t), nitto stem and bb stolen from my dads custom built 80's spokesman touring bike that he hadnt ridden since like 85. EAI 19t track cog. 32 hole velocity aerohead rims laced to velocity hubs i think. tony at IRO built em. hes the man. syntace tt bars and some dodgy $10 brake lever and a decent front brake that doesnt acutally reach the rim, haha. good thing ive only used it once when my foot popped out when i was skidding. i was surprised it actually stopped me.

Still some work to do, but I can't afford anything else now so next week! Rides nice though, rode around for 20 minutes. Very interesting contrast to the Stan Miles. I literally just finished an hour ago. Better photos tomorrow when the sun comes up. |

Ta-da; this is Tenjin, named for the god of natural disasters and a town nearby the Samson shop. Thanks to monkey, sashae, and absntr for parts and assistance with the build.
