no sir! the flaw with those cranks is the teeth on the crank arma dn the teeth on the spider are not the same shape. What I was told by fsa to do with those cranks is to jb weld them and wait for the carbon pro track cranks to come out after market and they will swap em for me. the slippage problem only happens when you apply back ressure to the cranks. Since the repair I have had no issues with my cranks I am a heavy weight rider and have done plenty of skids and other things that have in the past caused hubs to fail for me..

Are.you.****ing.serious? This company deserves to go out of business if they're telling you to rig up a faulty product and wait a few months until they can hook you up. I mean, isn't this where the CPSC comes in and orders a recall for the continued failure (and likely danger) of this product? Man, FSA continues to disappoint me...

Yes, its a SOMA Rush with the fork threaded. It has my winter rear wheel and cranks on it right now as I commute to and from work in the rain on this bike, which also is the reason for the bit of dirtiness.

something about that brake really does it for me.

just picked this up on tuesday...sure its nicer than i thought. sweet deal on it too...

I have a Puch that I got for $5 and used as a conversion for a long time (looks just like yours) Hell of a bike, beat it to into the ground but it kept rising back up.
-do you have hearts brazed on the downtube? (look at it from underneath)

Hey thanks, the tubing is Columbus Neuron and the bars are 42cm Nittos. I ride it all over town all the time, what bike are you on, maybe I've seen you. I just ride so fast that you see a blur when I go by hah:eek:

It's an Outland Race, Just a cheap stem, but so far it's been holding up.

Did you thread the threadless Soma fork? I was told that that was NOT advisable to do so. I really like the the Soma fork, but wasn't sure if it was advisable to thread the steerer tube or buy another brand fork.

i dumpstered a Puch from the old bike store in my town and converted it to a fixie although i have no pics since i have no camera.

Puch is the best. All the awesome people are on them.

you are rocking chain tensioners, but your chain looks like if i blew on it too hard it would fall off.

Its a 1986-ish Nishiki I got at Goodwill for $15 in great shape. Most of the parts are from my old Azuki conversion which was a hair small... this fits me better and is a little nicer tubeset. Still rides smoothly but is a bit stiffer and more responsive. 42x16 for the big hills on my way to work and downtown. I'm really happy with the riding position, comfort, and aesthetics of the North Road + Technomics stem. Click for larger pics.

Nice bike! Quasi unrelated: does anyone know how to pronounce "Puch"? For some reason I keep thinking "Puke". Please tell me that's not how you say it. That would be a horrible injustice to some sweetass bikes.
