it looks wacky because the bike is at an angle combined with the fact that regals are wicked comfy when they are angled slightly down

bward1028 12-17-07 02:57 PM

what pad is that?

time bandit 12-17-07 02:57 PM

thats a reload pad.

bward1028 12-17-07 03:01 PM

time bandit 12-17-07 03:11 PM

53-22 sounds about right for snowy Missouri. 53-14 is cool. Real cool when you are pushing
it up a hill and an old lady on a 3 speed passes you.

Yup. Waiting for the Easton EC90 or otherwise DA or chorus.

Little john is what a 6'4" friend called me. My name is john, and he had a vinyl cutter, so I used them.

Come to think of it, could have been the shortness, or the fact I conduct conversations using only 'yeah' 'okay' and 'what', and sometimes 'lets go'

^I make it a point to make sure that this frame sees snow at every possible opportunity.^

what good does that chopped down fender do?

bexley 12-17-07 05:48 PM

It looks to just be at an angle. Do your eyes not register the 3rd dimension?

(Now you've got me looking at it closely and my eyes are hurting trying to picture it as both straight and at an angle.)

Straws 12-17-07 06:07 PM

no. The bike would have to be facing the camera offset by about 15 degrees to have the perspective on the fender be that skewed.

bward1028 12-17-07 06:39 PM

unless the fender got knocked around the seatpost

humancongereel 12-17-07 06:43 PM

ding ding ding! a winnar iz u!

bward1028 12-17-07 06:52 PM

thank you, thank you, it seemed pretty obvious.
i'd like to especially thank Straws and bexley, for all they did to make this award possible.

humancongereel 12-17-07 07:02 PM

i dunno, i've just seen a fender or two in my day, it seemed obvious, indeed.

bward1028 12-17-07 07:20 PM

let's just pretend it didn't happen

bexley 12-17-07 07:22 PM

I was just too perplexed by Straws' reply to answer.

Yea, it's pretty clearly knocked around the seatpost. I've got that type of fender. No idea why he thought I was talking about the bike's angle.

Prime 12-17-07 07:42 PM

Stupid

I have that fender. Clearly chopped.
