Yeah, good luck finding replacement 210mm cranks.

Watch it, Sheldon sez that those Hoshi's are break-prone, what with the no-nail-head-havings and all. Especially if they're radially laced, I 'spect.

Regardless, that bike is super. Don't change a thing if she's a track steed.

Anyhow, congratulations on getting your frame back!

Just looking at the second pic on the thread, the guy looks like a Gi Joe figure.

We pulled off the original head tube and down tube. The down tube was busted(obviosly) as well as bouth the head lugs were damaged. The top one cracked and the bottom one had a ripple in it. We used a new head tube and new down tube. I sanded down where the old top lug sat and we simply braised the new set up in place on to the old tube.

Fatlace x Tokyo x Carnival x T19

Sorry, it's been like over a year since I posted on here but at least this post has some relevance to the subject. I just got back from part 1 of 3 trips to tokyo this year. I took photos of the new Carnival shop which just happens to be owned by a friend, Yoppi of T19. Check out the feature, feel free to discuss. I watched the video in its entirety and I have to say, the guys over there are pretty good at doing tons of tricks. I know the sf guys went over there about a month ago and they had fun as well.

Photos on the homepage of fatlace.com

Here's a bike I picked up over there from a friend for only 300 bucks! woot.. It's an umezawa in excellent shape which was serviced by some kerin mechanic. I put it together using some older parts. Not at all njs but Its good stuff plus I'm not really into the whole i gotta have njs. Record cranks, velocity wheels and phil hubs ohh and the ital straps. the stars grips are from carlos at freewheel.

My wheel should be built by friday and I've had some people tell me that I shouldn't have gotten the low flange phil. Fashion's a *****, but I'm happy with my purchase.

Phil would not put out a product that was some how flawed.

Oh, OK. I really like the look, too. I thought it was just bare steel.
