pogliaghi - 90's basso i believe it is. really rusty and beat and has a fairly low bb to boot. but i love it. http://www.tribunalrecords.net/~/~/bf/pogliaghi_f.jpg orero - argentinian made 531 with some nice chromed lugs and ends and what have you. one day i took it out in the rain and the decals peeled off. http://www.tribunalrecords.net/~/~/bf/orero_f.jpg UM |

the angle doesn't make it fit or un-fit for racing.

i kinda like that geometry... and a flip flop hub, for that price, is definitely an eyegrabber... but it's aluminum so i'd have to ride it to see how it feels.
still, $500 and it comes with brakes. pretty impressive. i think the cayne uno is the only thing that beats this in terms of price. |
yeah, the cable stops would have to go but it's not bad looking at all
|
To my eyes, the bike doesn't look much different from the
Omnium, which is a true track bike by all estimations. I'm not saying the quality is as high as the Omnium, but the geometry is similar. |
yaaayeeee it doesnt suck as much!!! yaaayeeee!!! fyi, anybody else see the repainted bowery's they have at montanovelo? they actually dont look like junk

Fuji, KHS, pista, even the rush hour or madison look nicer than that. And they all go on sale sooner or later. I've seen fuji tracks on sale for $350 (which is how much I paid for mine).

We've had two people buy one: A 15 year old girl saying that her boyfriend rides one in St. Pete, so she wanted one. And an old man who has this amazing Paramount wanting one for his son. He used to be a track racer back in the 50's and 60's. Super awesome conversation (he even like my Piaggio Pista! :)). |
while the mirror disk wheel is a very cool concept and looks pretty crazy
its kind of dumb. and not to mention how distracting it would be to cars and other cyclists |
