newnoise 02-21-07 11:26 PM

freeskihp 02-21-07 11:27 PM

because it will really help his aerodynamics when he spins out at 20mph

cc700 02-21-07 11:39 PM

yeah the mirror wheel is pretty much the coolest thing i've ever seen on here. awesome.

trons 02-22-07 01:38 AM

here are two bikes that have not been in this thread yet.
pogliaghi - 90's basso i believe it is. really rusty and beat and has a fairly low bb to boot. but i love it.
http://www.tribunalrecords.net/~/~/bf/pogliaghi_f.jpg
orero - argentinian made 531 with some nice chromed lugs and ends and what have you. one day i took it out in the rain and the decals peeled off.

You need Argentinian-made Saavedra rims on that Orero. or do you have em already? VERY nice stuff, btw.

Fugazi Dave 02-22-07 02:54 AM

Trons - both bikes have that perfect amount of wear from use that makes them all the sexier.

that reminds I had a pair of Saavedra Featherweights or was it featherlights? Anyway, the point is I had a pair of their rims.
I, also, have their headset which is actually really smooth and awesome.
If anyone needs one, I have access to Saavedra needle bearing headsets.

Where in this thread did you see this bike? It's exactly like one that was just for sale at the LBS but went on ebay..

bonechilling 02-22-07 10:40 AM

I'm sure I said this before when the Panasonic was originally
posted, but that seat tube just ******** blows my mind.

its a climbing bike. at 18-22% grade the rider's back is 'level'. the position gives a good view of the road surface.
