You'll have to do better than just pink bartape, fellow.

Was cruising around the city today, taking pics and found this old painted sign. Really like how it turned out, esp. for a pretty basic point and shoot digi.

interesting setup on that bike sinfield.
|
Yeah I've changed things up on it a bunch of times but keep coming back to the hi rise stem and risers as my favorite setup. I tried to convince myself for a long time that it was the right size, but finally realized that I probably ordered it too small. Oh well, i never spend long distances on it.

Did some updates to my Rush this weekend. New bars and stem mainly, but the wheels are new-ish.

My neon fixie
This is my new fixie. It's my second. The front wheel will match the rear wheel when it gets built, in about 4 days. All comments welcome.

I know I've posted this thing a million times, but I got a new lens for my camera today, so I had to post this one.

I'm new to FG's and built this Suteki conversion from random parts I found at Worcester Earn-a-Bike. It's certainly not the hottest ride but it gets me around at a good clip. The big chainring is coming off as soon as I get some spacers on the stack bolts and I'm replacing the chop & flops when my bike building budget is greater than $0. The only things purchased new for the bike were tires, tubes, cog, and flip-flop hub for around $50 total. I know the seat is too low, the post is stuck in the frame and no amount of PB blaster will get it free so it's staying like that until I figure something out.

Wonderful bikes :) I love spare beautiful Zen bikes.
My 'fixie' is a pre-war English Wearwell 'Club' model..... http://img404.imageshack.us/img404/8...ellclubmh6.gif http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/9...arwell3zl5.jpg http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/906...llclub2rj0.jpg When I was fortunate enough to find this wonderful bicycle I couldn't believe my luck. The spec 'as found' was a little different from the catalogue: - Brass badge 'Brooks' B17 saddle. - Steel 'Rigida' 27inch rims. - Alloy 'LeTour' hubs; - fixed 'flip-flop' hub on the rear even though I do have a period correct 'Bayliss Wiley' freewheel I could use if I wanted to. - Weinmann Centrepull front brake. No rear brake. - Gray Burgess cold forged alloy stem and handlebars. The slender 3 arm steel 'Wearwell' chainwheel and crankset are still there though, which is very pleasing because they are sooooooooooooo beautiful. I'll post a proper picture soon as I've only really just finished doing a cleanup and service on this bicycle. |
