Local racers ride. For a handbuilt, hand painted, modern bike, it's VERY easy on the eye.

i dunno about that disc wheel's paintjob, It just makes me expect the owner to have tribal tattoos.

absurd is half the battle. the fact that you think my bike looks stupid only makes me love it even more.

yessir. contact paper. they make all kinds of fun patterns to put in the bottoms of your kitchen drawers.

BRANDUNE 08-11-07 12:42 AM

I don't care for the clown, but the other side of that disc wheel is awesome.

What works for one doesn't work for another. It's a cool idea, and the effect is cool. But the bike as a whole looks silly. But what do I care?

I've seen candy striped bikes, pinstriped, checkered, airbrushed, rattlecan, shellaced, etc... u name it I pretty much seen it.

I'm just saying its not for me ;) glad it works for you.

i agree, clowns don't particularly scare me so much as i just find them ugly.

deathhare 08-11-07 09:58 AM

But you gotta admit...If a meatball like that rode track its fitting to be on his disc wheel :)

SkyeC 08-11-07 11:28 AM

hell, i think it's pretty cool to have some airbrushed art on a $$ disc that is actually ridden on the track and not walked down to the local coffee shop.

it should look slightly less absurd when i swap out the stem, handlebars, seatpost, saddle, and wheels for white components. but, looking absurd is sorta the point i guess.

You need a Rotex for your logos.

WTF is that thing?!?!?!?!

solveg 08-11-07 11:03 PM

It's an awfully considerate bike for having "Punish and Enslave" on it...sitting on the door mat so it doesn't bring dirt into the house. Sweet.
