it should look slightly less absurd when i swap out the stem, handlebars, seatpost, saddle, and wheels for white components. but, looking absurd is sorta the point i guess. THAT ROCKS. |
Funny, my Paddywagon didn't come with any reflectors at all. I think I was ripped off.

Do professional keirin riders ride their fancy-shmancy NJS bikes in the street? Is there anyone on the forum who actually rides keirin? Has anyone here met a keirin racer? I'm actually curious, not being snarky.

I find [the Kona Paddy Wagon's reflectors] pointless seeing as there's no front or rear reflectors. But it's one sweet bike!

Here's an update on my bike with the temporary brake that keirin riders use for training on the street or getting to the velodrome. It sure beats drilling holes!
How effective is it? I don't know. I haven't used it in a month of riding. But, it's there for emergencies. ....don't you think it'd be good to see if it works? I mean just in case you just in case have to just in case actually use it? |

im gonna repaint it soon cause the frame is pretty old and pretty scratched. |
still can't say i understand wrapping bandanannas around your bike. atleast things like top tube pads have some kind of function...
|
well i used that bandana to tie pliers to my bike
function over fashion |

a bandana does make a nice kit wrap if you roll up all your tools like a burrito and use an old toestrap to cinch it to the saddle rails.
