I would run my hand up and down that seat tube till the paint wears off. The Colnago doesn't even have to pay me.
|
I love the fluted tubing.

Another Leader. I got it together, took it for a short ride, and suddenly the NC drought broke and the sky opened up and lo, there was brought forth upon this land a massive ****ing deluge.
so pardon the crappy indoor night pic. http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/582/img0942sa4.jpg |
We use the air compressor at the shop, but if it's being occupied for a flat or for a tune up we use alcohol with a spritz top. I highly doubt many people have air compressors readily available in their homes.

We only ever used rubbing alcohol. Dip a butter knife in it, rub it on the inside, the grip will pop right on, and dries in an hour or so.
Working at a shop also give you the air compressor technique. |
A floor pump can do the same thing as an air compressor, just a little slower.
|
I'll just take them to my frame shop. We have an air compressor there.
for people that work in a shop, this sounds weird, but try it. If you've been on your feet for hours try shooting the nozzle into your shoe. It feels awesome. |

I don't know if I should ask what you're going to do with the front wheel on that Colnago. I'm scared of what the answer might be...
