Hey, can someone please help me out? I want to make my purchase today. I really want to know the "actual" standover height of Windsor The Hour for a 54cm or a 56cm. From BD's website, it sorta doesn't make sense for a 56cm to have a standover of around 32".

I am 5'11" with an inseam of 32"

Thanks a bunch in advance.

i have no reason to believe the geometry that BD lists for the Hour isn't correct. Go look up the geo for the Fuji Track (same bike).

Yea, I thought that the fuji, Windsor Hour, and the Moto Messenger are all the same bike. But the standover for the fuji is 797.4 = 31.3 inches. The Messenger Standover is 807= 31.8" and the Hour stand over is 31.8 inches. I think i would fit a 56cm Fuji Track fine, with a 32" inseam, but I am not so sure about the Messenger or the Hour. My gut feeling is to get the 56cm for the Messenger, but then i'm afraid its too big. And I am also afraid that if I get the 54cm it would be too small.

Any advice anyone?

Just go with the 54. I don't think it would be too small. And I would rather it be a smaller than bigger.

I ordered a 54 and I changed it to a 52 just to be safe.

i would get the 56. If you're wearing shoes, i'm sure you'll clear the TT fine.

Thanks for all the input. I think I will go with the Windsor Hour at 54" The standover for the 56 is 31.8, I think that might be cutting it a bit too close.

Any of you out there ride to work like that? I break a sweat really easily, tell me how your experience is riding to work.

SOrry Lmaonade, I ended up getting the Motobecane Messenger in 54cm, because it came with a freewheel and brakes, I will post pictures and tell you how it is in the Motobecane Messenger thread.

I'm 5'10.5" and I have a 58 and my inseam is 31.5 and it's not uncomfortable by any means. I'd go with the 56 IMO.

I'm 5'6 and have an inseam of 30.5, would a 54cm be good? Or should I go for a 52cm?

I have a 52cm and am 5'9 with a 31" inseam roughly. To be honest the bike is too small for me but I like a short top tube.

The site says you cant choose whether you get a 1inch or 1 1/8 threadless stem. is it by color? randomly? id like to get a threadless so that way i can have way more stem choice.

I believe all the latest batches have all been threadless. This isn't from experience, just hear-say.

weight

Approximately how much do these bikes weigh?

Any chance they're under 23 or 24 lbs?
