Today I rode my bike to work again. Hoping this helps me lose another 30lbs. It's nice getting home from work and still having 1800+ calories I can consume. Beers here I come!

I don't mean to be a debbie downer considering I've consumed a lot of beer today but there are good calories and bad calories, if you are trying to lose weight you should probably stick to things like bourbon and avoid beer which is around 100something calories a beer.

Today I rode on aerobars for the first time. Very comfortable and it made me feel faster. Will have to reinstall my computer to see how much faster they actually make me go. Now I just have to strengthen my neck...

Went for my first fixed ride in over a week since having to rest my knees due to overuse from several different activities. So glad I run a small gear. Felt good.

It's sorta a budget build and nearly all the parts are second hand from good deals or hookups. If S900s do present themselves, I'll hop on them.

Yeah, in reality I should be cutting out all alcohol. Hard liquor is still around 70-90 calories a shot, a bottle of Guinness is 125. Wine is about the same. My daily calorie goal is a little over 1400. I was doing really good until I took vacation days in March and now I've plateaued. Riding the bike to work gives me over 900 additional calories to eat each day. I try to eat on the healthy side. By the time I finished dinner last night I still had 1000 calories to go. So even after a couple glasses of wine and a couple of beers, I was still doing pretty well.

I'm not sure if it's been posted on here, but I've been lurking for a long long time and I haven't seen it. I played around with it yesterday for a few bikes and found it helpful/fun to mess with.

That's pretty cool, but it doesn't really work very well unless you actually have the bikes available for measurement since a lot of the required specs aren't listed on geometry charts.

Im hungry immediately, it really boils down to a motivational problem lol

when im off though and get up with the sun i take my time making tea and a glorious smorgasbord for breakfast simply because i know i have all the time in the world

its just knowing i have limited time before i have to leave that makes me say **** it and eat some junk

Same. And then I spend money even though I try to bring to lunch with me to avoid spending. I just have to go to sleep earlier and wake up earlier.

I do this too...my breakfast is usually pistachios or freeze-dried fruit once I get to work. Sleeping is more important for me in the morning than eating. I don't do well with mornings.

I've considered it. You can go lighter for cheaper with a lot of Taiwanese hubs, so I've abandoned AC.

Just hammered out close to 30 miles. The wind on the return trip was awful. Legs hurt so bad right now.
