I got World Trade Center in Portland... Ha!

2,854 mi, 38 days 3 hours . . . Less than an hour, you'd have to be flying FAST!

Today I experienced something odd, I'd like to call it a "Hipster Flyby" while I cruising through campus talking to my girlfriend. It was kind of like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M5KH...eature=related

But the dude was wearing skinny jeans, cycling cap, messenger bag, dorky glasses, and was riding an ugly conversion that didn't fit him at all.

today I drove to class because I had lots of supplies and was told it was going to rain. didn't rain, couldn't find a parking spot (seriously what a joke at our campus, I paid to park in a nearby neighborhood and walk).

also saw citygrounds says they don't know of any changes between the 2012 omniums and the older ones outside of the new chainring. uhhh..

edit: oh and an older update. I got some cinelli luster (dvs) shoes the other day. I looked like an ******* in the black ones. prepare to buy black socks or go barefoot inside them 24/7. They felt good, ran a bit larger than I'm used to, but I returned them the next day. The grey ones are the ones I'd go for if you've been eying them

Maybe Sram didn't change anything after all.

Just don't... they are butt ugly to be honest and you're getting that straight from a cinelli vigorelli owner.

I keep forgetting this is a PG rated forum until someone quotes me or scrod has to delete one of my gifs.

@sram: $60 price increase just to give me a different colored chainring? not cool.

@scrod: I would say don't do it! you already have the prettier fat frame, but you've probably got an entire set of used components lying around so might as well, eh. you're in need of something white

as soon as he starts buying Cinelli (insert another track frame brand there) by the truckloads I bet he has a new brand! Being a merchant makes it sooooo tempting to build up new **** I bet

We just got them in today and I got excited. I really dig the way it looks but think I decided against it. The geo is exactly the same as my 725 so there's really no point. Looks like I better strike up a deal with Mongoose.

It's coming. I need to build wheels and haven't had the time.

It feels lighter in hand but it weighs pretty much the same as a 725 Mid - which is a hair lighter than my early '11 725. Not quite certain if that huge honkin' downtube makes for a stiffer frame (considering the 725 is pretty damn stiff already) or if it's just aesthetic. You can't really tell from any pics but that thing is sharp as a knife on the top edge. It's kind of awesome, actually.

Angie and I just came back from a fast-paced 22 mile loop and I decided that until my 725 does me some serious amounts of wrong, I'm not looking to replace her just yet.

Would love to see some pics of the 735 if/when you build it up. It would look sweet with some 3t Rotundos.

If I do ever build one up, I plan on going the opposite direction of the typical builds and putting low-profile rims on it (like Velocity Aeros). There are enough thick lines on that frame already.

Brakless I assume?

PS I sure hope you won't throw untaped/unplugged Deda Pistas on it...

They really do. I never really even considered them until Angie got Wing Pros for her 721. I stole them for a day and even though they were a little too small (38cm), I was in heaven. Even without hoods, they're awesome.

They're Cane Creek SCR-5c's that I got from a fellow forum member. FTP is brakeless, so I guess they're dummies.

Nice. Hood + drops > track drops on the street any day.
