Cute! When I was young, I had a rabbit exactly like that, no lie.
Anyhow I just finished my 10th consecutive fixed metric century.

Today I'm looking into jerseys and bibs.
Anyone ever get a kit off of ebay?
I take it they're knock offs, but if they are decent I'll pick one up
Looking at something like this:

Jerseys are decent for the price. The zipper on mine was bad and would catch sometimes but it's still working a year later. The bibs are "meh" at best. In summary, I believe you get what you pay for.

When I sat down for breakfast today, my sitbones felt really odd, as if they conformed to the shape of my saddle. No pain or sores through, just a sensation.

Today I graduated... my mentor and partner said that he feels that I am ready to set up my own frame shop here as there is not much more he can teach me and I know what I need to know.
We will still maintain the rest of our business relationship but will be working in different shops and will each have a little more elbow room which was the plan all along.

Thanks.
I have some projects in the works already and some interesting ideas on builds... many that have stemmed from feedback I have received here over the years.
Think that #1 will be a custom fixed gear based on an old 1940's Raleigh design... something clean and simple with nice filet work like the original... will be a nice project to get the torch dialed in.
Also plan to draw on my experience with the many bikes I have owned and handled over the decades and take what works well and apply this to new builds... my Moulden is 1/1 but could see myself making more bikes like this since the design is so damn perfect and because Moulden stopped building a long time ago.

Today I:
1. Stayed in expecting bad weather due to the hurricane.
2. Worked on my Dad's bike, mostly cleaning: bottom bracket, crankset, headset, pedals, rear rim, frame, fork, fenders. Re-assembled the front hub and pedals. Waxed the frame, fork, and fenders. Another coat of wax and then start re-assembly.
3. Watched a movie.
4. Browsing BF listening to vintage Pat Benatar, good memories.

Today, I finished my 11th consecutive fixed century. Just like clockwork.
Now I'm going to walmart to check out said ghetto fixed gear with my wife to tag along.
Congrats!

Today I stayed in all day and watched 5 episodes of Hell's Kitchen. No work for the weekend, thanks Irene.

today i acknowledged that i have to get a helmet. i've gone from just tooling around my section of the suburbs to hitting county routes and city streets in my commuting to work and other activities. *sigh* i just wish they didn't look like a Transformer left a turd on your head.

oh, i've always been pro helmet, but never wanted to give up the guy points. my own battle with Darwinism has ended. at 41 i look back on time spent skateboarding in NYC traffic/pool/halfpipe and the years of mountainbiking w/o a helmet and shudder. something about my age bracket remembering cars w/o seatbelts, bb gun fights and lawn darts....same old song.
i'm going helmet shopping today.

Thanks. I'm eventually going to swap out the chainring for a black 49t Sugino 75 ring but this works for now.
Chain is a KMC K710-SL. Tire ia a 25c Durano Plus.
