Today I began my detox, while not quite as thorough as I hoped, I still haven't smoked dope or drank.
I fell on my first commute riding the Trek T1. A third car decided to make the left as the light changed. I didn't see, or guess the ***** would have the nerve to start her turn that late. I stopped, then fell over shortly after. I'm really tired of straps, I want to go back to clipless, where I can remove my foot when I need to.
I also left work a half hour before a ride started 11 miles away because I thought some sqrl was going to go. needless to say i made the ride start. She didn't show up though but it was all good, saw a lot of friends and managed to resist temptations of breaking my detox.

Rode my fixed gear to work and stopped off at a local advocacy office to pick up some cycling maps for a friend.

Today I rubbed my eye immediately after chopping fresh habanero peppers. Not one of my smoothest moves.

I left for work, stopped by the grocery for some fruit and a Arnold Palmer. As soon as I leave the grocery I get a flat, I run home, jump in the car and drive to work.

I'm cursed with flats lately. I've been getting at least 2 a week. This time it was because the GP4000 had a puncture in the side. When I get home i'll patch it with a dolla, holla and ride over to the co-op to try and put a new cog on the wheel, get some lights(finally) and then go to school.

I did this with Tabasco sauce after I went to IHOP once. So terrible.

Today I drove my car ~20 miles towards work, then parked, got my bike out, and rode the remaining ~5 miles, for Bike To Work Day.

Please, I can get like 10 kinds of fresh peppers at my local market, as well as 4 or 5 dried varieties. I have living off Serrano's lately.

Did you stop at a station? I was hanging around the Campus Bike Project location around 8:30-9:20am. Unfortunately, my "commute" was only about a mile, if that.

I took my differential equations final this morning. That class shouldn't be as hard as my teacher is making/made it.

Bikes: bieks

Today I donated blood in exchange for free shoes from a local shoe store. I picked these Tsubo ones. They have a steel shank in the instep so I'm hoping they will be stiff enough for riding. The colors in my crappy phone photo aren't quite right, but they are some pretty crazy looking shoes.

yeah, I love lab chemistry, but I knew that there was no way I'd graduate with a decent GPA in biochem, considering I despise math.

Good for you! I despise Chemistry with a vengeance... it shattered my dreams of wearing a white coat and stethoscope for a career.

Chemistry=/=math. Chemistry is the devil's bastard science, where math is pretty much straight forward.

My biochem program has like no math, I only had to take up until calc 2 and general physics, and for chemistry i had to do 8 credits of general chem and organic chem, the next two years are just BMB courses

You haven't met P-chem yet, then.
