Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: Geekhouse Deerfield, GT Edge Ti, Spooky Skeletor, TET Track, Ritchey P-650b, Bridgestone MB-3

Today I woke up, got some solid BBQ for lunch for the lady and I, went to the co-op and finished building the Track for my dad (minus a front brake), volunteered some, cruised around for a little bit with the co-op people, planned a ride for 7 and got massively rained on so we waited it out for 40 minutes until the rain cleared up, and then had a fun but crappy ride due to head wind in every direction we faced. Then I got home and ate a lot of foodz.

Bikes: See my sig...

Rode 55km to work, put some finishing touches on my friend's custom rack and repaired the hinge on my P20 folder as it needed a new bolt sleeve.

Was a short day at the shop and got a ride back into the city as my friend met me 40 km out and we then went and devoured a large vegetarian pizza, fries, and a chicken Caesar salad.

I am wiped.

LOL!
I don't know why that's funny to me, like it's logical and everything, but I found it fun!

Let's see, today I ... worked as a lifeguard, then met up with the exchange student people who brought along a 17 year old girl from Brazil and a 17 year old girl from Germany to hang out with my will-be-17-on-Wednesday exchange student boy from Brazil at the mall, while it pretty much rained all day. We'll see whether the weather is better tomorrow for riding (say that three times fast).
