Just came back from a night ride on my vig configured with my SDV66's, there's a stretch that is totally void of cars after school hours, no intersecting streets, just empty daytime parking lots, perfect for sprints, I was flying, maxed at 36.4 mph on the cyclocomputer, not bad considering I've not done much conditioning for sprints, just endurance mostly on the roadie. Passed a group of fixie riders at their hang out afterwards on the return trip and they all stopped and stared at me with envy, I slowed down the pace to a crawl and stared back with a troll face.

Today I...Had a tooth pulled out, drove 100 miles to pick up my new bike, came back home and had eggs and mashed potatoes n gravy for dinner because I can't chew yet.

Major changes? Sure, lets discuss that.
So far I have been Biomedical Science, Environmental Studies, Recreation and Leisure Service Administration, and now i'm back to my roots, Photojournalism.
People can hate if they'd like, but changing around so much has allowed me to take classes in all the areas I am interested in. It actually only put me behind one semester (So graduating in 4 1/2 yrs) too.
To keep this more on topic, Today I: Finished up my my second to last final exam.

Today, I woke up to a sliced rear tyre. Keeping my rotation-regime, I spent the morning swapping the front tyre to the back, and then strapped the naked rim to my back for a trip to my favourite LBS on the second bike. Home now with a brand-spanking new red-black Schwalbe, matching my bike's scheme.

Today I wish it would just rain instead of being overcast and insanely ****ing humid.

Today I woke up around 8 o' clock. I turned my alarm off and laid in bad for five minutes. I then got up, stretched, then took a shower. I got out of the shower, dried myself off and got dressed. I went into the kitchen and made a bowl of oatmeal. I sat down and ate the oatmeal and drank a glass of cran-grape juice. I finished breakfast and wrote an essay for my History final. And now I'm sitting here, eating a bag of Cheetos, wanting this semester to be over already.

Philosophy is 1/2 of my double major (creative writing & philosophy). And I spend all day creating software. With a PhD in philosophy you can teach; with a BS in philosophy (or a BA in creative writing) you can just look for a job completely unrelated to your education.

Today I led a group ride and had the mtb skills save me when I nearly completely lost it on a dirt road. Still don't know how in the world I rode out of it without wrecking the wheels or tires.

Today I rode to and from work, and the sun was out for BOTH rides. Can't remember the last time it's been that way...
