I totally pushed myself too hard this afternoon and ended up with a case of 'jelly legs' while climbing the Salem/Beverly bridge.

Today, I rode my bike with friends and FSFG guy from Toronto.

@Scrod, the 23c is a Michelin Krylion Carbon and the 25c is a Specialized Roubaix Pro that is marked as 23/25c but measures 24.6ish. I feel the plushiness when I rode through some cobble stones today.

Oh, the FGFS guy is super genuine and I generally like FSFG.

Pliny is aight, but I've been digging Red Racer IPA lately. Delicious, easy to get, comes in cans, and the artwork sports a chick on a bike.

I'm still jazzed about Dark Lord, having just gone to Dark Lord Day last weekend (for the third year in a row). This year's is really sweet, vanilla-y and caramel-y. Might let it mellow a bit before opening the next bottle. It's amazing how different it can be from year to year. Chicago Craft Beer Week starts in a couple weeks and I'm super excited.

BEER? I ****ING LOVE BEER.

You'll all probably judge me but my favorite beers are Belgian Ales. And I think Victory Brewing is quite swell for 12 and gold monkey, which I can drink one bottle of and be good for the night. Also Aventinus is quite good as well as Franziskaner, if you like hefe. My german friend turned me onto it.

I love me some Belgians too! Can be dangerous though. For example when you go to a place like Hopleaf which has 20+ Belgians ON TAP and it's right after work and you haven't had dinner yet and they're so tasty so you throw down 2 or 3... Oops.
